There’s a whole host of family events at the gallery throughout the year including:

• Celebratory cultural events, like Diwali celebrations

• School holiday events, like our summer programmes throughout August

• Weekend workshops, like our mini-beast making sessions for 2-4 year olds

Everyone is welcome to come along and make something inspired by our displays throughout the gallery. Work with the artists and use your imagination and a host of fabulous materials to create something unique on the theme for the day. All children need to be accompanied by a carer.

“My children really enjoyed themselves today making birds. I think it is fantastic that the activities have been on every day of the holidays. It is wonderful that the activities are free. The staff are really helpful and friendly and very courteous to everyone, children and adults alike. Please keep it up and we will always visit and enjoy the activities.
